Family Programs
The family focused camps offer the opportunity for families to attend camp together and create special Wapsie memories in nature. With traditional camp activities, like canoeing, archery, swimming, campfire and arts & crafts, and special family events this is guaranteed quality time!
Labor Day Family Camp
Come together with family and friends at the end of the summer season for this traditional, three-day camp. Family Camp weekends provide families with a fun-filled family getaway that removes the distractions of daily life and allows the freedom to focus solely on one another while creating memories in nature. With traditional camp activities, like canoeing, archery, swimming, campfire and arts & crafts, and special family events this is guaranteed quality time! Let us take care of you while you focus on each other. Wapsie staff create the schedule and provide the activities, meals, and lodging. Check in at 2:00-3:30 Saturday. Programing ends 1:00 Monday.
CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES:
Cancellations: Cancellations and changes must be made in writing or by email. Cancellations anytime forfeit the $100 deposit. Cancellations less than 10 days prior to the session start date forfeit half the camp fees. No Shows will be charged the full fee. There is no refund for behavior-related problems. Campers who leave or cancel on the advice of medical personnel will receive a prorated refund. A physician’s note is required.

Parent/Child Weekend Fall Camp
Adults can spend time with a beloved child in an environment where people can enjoy time together, doing fun filled outdoor activities from canoeing, to archery, crafts, hiking, campfires and more. Join us to reconnect with nature, the ones you care about and make memories together. Participants stay with other participants, in heated cabins with bunk beds and attached bathrooms.
Please sign each person up individually.
- Friday, October 4th Check-in between 6:00-6:30 pm
- Sunday, October 6th Check-out at 11:30 am
- Meals included.
