SPECIAL EVENTS

Camp Wapsie offers Special Camps for campers who can't wait until next summer or who want to give camp a try. These Special Camps are held around Halloween, Christmas, and in early Spring. Our highly trained summer staff come back to lead campers through these exciting events! Closer to the event, fliers are sent out to last year's participants. Fliers also will be available online or by calling camp for more information.

SPRING FLING
The family-friendly weekend happens in early April each year.  You and your family can spend time together enjoying all the YMCA Camp Wapsie has to offer.

FAMILY CAMP PROGRAMS
Camp Wapsie offers the perfect family get-away over Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. Enjoy great camp food and lodging - and let us do all the work! We'll lead you in all the wonderful activities camp has to offer. You and your family can just relax and take in the peaceful outdoor setting at Wapsie. Programs fill up quickly so contact camp now to reserve your spot.

Family Camps will be:
Memorial Day Camp is Saturday before through Memorial Day Monday.
Labor Day Camp is Saturday before through Labor Day Monday

HALLOWEEN CAMP
Halloween Camp is held late in October here at beautiful YMCA Camp Wapsie. 

WINTER CAMP
The weekend between Christmas and New Year's plan to attend Winter Camp for fun in the outdoors. 

ADVENTURE GUIDES PARENT/CHILD WEEKENDS 
Camp Wapsie hosts parent/child weekends in the spring and fall for YMCA Adventure Guides. These special weekends are offered in the spring and fall and are a perfect chance for youth and parents to enjoy quality time together!
