Wapsie World Service

Each week at YMCA Camp Wapsie kids have the opportunity to donate up to a dollar from their store account to the World Service fund. At the end of the summer Camp Wapsie and the Y donates those funds to Y-USA's World Service funds that benefit local and international needs from Disaster Relief to poverty assistance. In addition to the funds raised from campers, every Wednesday afternoon at camp we play a World Service game.  This interactive game teaches campers about world need like flooding, recycling or hunger and what they can do about it.
