Summer Day Camp

Childcare kids

The YMCA of the Cedar Rapids Metropolitan Area’s Summer Day Camp program provides children and pre-teens with summer adventures that promote healthy body, mind, and spirit. Activities include; recreational swimming, crafts, sports, outdoor education, special programming and weekly field trips. Breakfast, afternoon snack, camp T-shirt and field trips are included in the weekly fee. For get more information, the Day Camp brochure can fill you in.Spots are limited, so register early!! Registration: Begins March 15, 2008. A completed registration form along with the registration fee is required.  A registration form can be turned in to any YMCA branch with registration fee.


Registration Fee: $5/child for returning families
                          $10/child for new families

Registration begins: Sat, Mar 15, 2008 at the Helen G Nassif YMCA. Registration packet along with a deposit of one-week fee required.

Spots will be reserved in the following order:
1. School Year Option 1 participants.
2. Participants who have pre-registered and submit deposits on March 15th.
3. Participants who have not pre-registered, but submit registration and deposits on March 15th.
4. Participants who register after March 15th will be placed in date order according to the receipt of completed forms, registration fees, and deposit. (All must be complete before a spot is secured.)

Bowman Woods - Walker - Truman - Van Buren

Summer Day Camp Payment Options
Option 1: Full summer
Member - $125/week Nonmember - $145/week

Option 2: Summer Select/Choose weeks to attend
Member - $135/week Nonmember - $155/week
*Twenty-four hour is required for processing of registration forms prior to attending program.*
